Jonas stands in line early at the bakery. The scent of butter and warm grain fills the air. He orders two cheese rolls and a coffee to go. He hands the saleswoman a reusable cup. She carefully places the rolls into a paper bag and explains that the rye bread will be fresh from the oven in ten minutes. Jonas opts for the quicker choice and thanks her with a clear "vielen Dank" at the end. Outside, he meets a neighbor who wants to pick up the same rye bread. They laugh about their hungry cats at home. Before hanging up, he quietly repeats a useful sentence from the scene.
