Julien stays alone in the theater after the applause. Between two seats, he finds a letter without a name or address. The sentences talk about an actress who returns to the stage after twenty years. Julien reads slowly, as if each word had a light. He leaves the letter at the ticket desk and goes out into the Paris night.
