At lunchtime, Yuna and Daniel go to Mangwon Market.
The stall is filled with the smell of sesame oil and clouds of white steam.
They say, “Gimbap and tteokbokki, please.”
Daniel tastes the bright red tteokbokki and immediately drinks some water.
“It’s delicious, but it’s a little spicy for me.”
Yuna laughs, and Daniel orders, “One more, less spicy, please.”
The vendor uses only a little sauce and adds an extra piece of gimbap.
