It's Saturday morning, and Claire strolls through the market with her large wicker bag. The market is a whirlwind of colors and sounds. I'd like a kilo of apples, please," Claire says to the seller with a smile. " Here you go, ma'am. Two euros," he replies, handing over the bag. Claire also buys orange carrots, creamy white cheese, and six fresh eggs. She stops in front of the flowers, drawn by their sweet fragrance. " How much are the tulips?" she asks. " Five euros per bouquet," the seller replies. Claire picks a bouquet of pink tulips. Her bag is heavy now, but she is happy. At home, she places the flowers in a vase on the table, brightening the room. Before hanging up, she murmurs a useful phrase learned from the scene.
