Isa crossed through Retiro, where the fair was a mere WhatsApp rumor, until the scent of fresh paper and roasted peppers enveloped her, dispelling any notion of Instagram posing. She was searching for a profound essay, but the bookseller shouted titles from the red entrance to the nearby tent, as if each comma obeyed him. The line took forever under the fractured sun, so she bought a peculiar novel about a heroine who collects lost posters, blending urgency and humor. A nearby author was writing dedications when Isa confessed that if the pacing breaks late, she leaves books unfinished to avoid needless suffering. Isa left with large envelopes, feeling she carried entire conversations in her raincoat pockets, because the fair teaches you to speak aloud with delicacy. She decided to call her sister before dinner, wanting to repeat each new phrase aloud before tucking the beautiful paper into a reusable bag. In the end, it all comes down to one simple sentence you can repeat aloud. In the end, it all comes down to one simple sentence you can repeat aloud.
