This evening, Julie invites her friend Paul for dinner. They decide to cook together. " Shall we make a quiche?" suggests Julie with a smile. " Excellent idea!" replies Paul enthusiastically. Julie chops the onions and tomatoes, their aroma filling the kitchen. Paul cracks the eggs into a bowl and adds the cream, creating a smooth mixture. " We also need cheese," says Julie. Paul grates the cheese, his fingers nimble. They mix everything and put the quiche in the oven, which crackles softly. While waiting, they prepare a green salad with vinaigrette, fresh and crunchy. After thirty minutes, the quiche is ready. It smells wonderfully good, like a gourmet dream. They sit at the table and eat together. " It's delicious!" exclaims Paul. " We cook well together," laughs Julie. They finish the meal with melting chocolate and fragrant tea.

In French, use 'on' to make suggestions.

On [verb] [something] ?

'On' plus a verb is a friendly way to suggest doing something together.

Expressing a need: 'Il nous faut...'

Il nous faut aussi du fromage.

We also need cheese.

Use 'Il nous faut' for 'We need'.
