After working late, Taeho ran to a station in Euljiro to catch the last train.
The display showed that the train would arrive five minutes late.
While he waited, an older passenger beside him kept turning a folded route map around.
Taeho carefully asked, “Where are you headed?”
After hearing the destination, he traced the line and said, “You can transfer at Gongdeok Station.”
The passenger said they had been worried about missing the transfer because it was the last train.
Taeho said, “I’m going the same way, so I’ll ride with you as far as Gongdeok.”
When the train lights appeared in the tunnel, they stood side by side at the same door.
